Mint Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix (18.25 oz)
2 sticks butter, melted
1/2 bag chocolate chips or chunks
3 eggs
1 block cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar (16 oz)
3 tsp. peppermint extract
green food coloring
Combine cake mix, 1 stick melted butter, 1 tsp. peppermint extract, and 1 egg in mixer. Fold in chocolate chips/chunks. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Combine cream cheese, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. peppermint extract, and green food coloring in mixer. Slowly add powdered sugar then mix in 1 stick melted butter. Pour on top of crust. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
